Process for cancelling students who do not come and participate in an enrolment induction/orientation program during the 14 day period following the commencement of their enrolment:
Step one: Confirm commencement date with the student. This should be done in writing when the COE is sent to the student and/or their representative
Step two: Reminder email is sent if new student has not presented at ACOT after 7 days of course commencement. In this email copies are to be sent to the student and their representative (if applicable), senior staff at ACOT including the Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operating Officer and Director of Studies.
(It is the responsibility of student administration staff to ensure that all new enrolments are communicated to all relevant ACOT staff. They are also responsible for sending letters/emails/text messages relating to student induction/orientation to students and their representatives.)
If no response is received from either the student or their representative by day 14 from commencement then the COE must be cancelled and a copy of the cancellation sent to: the student and their representative (if applicable), senior staff at ACOT including the Chief Executive Officer), Chief Operating Officer and Director of Studies. Please also advise the student's trainer and other relevant administration staff.

ACOT Assesses application and DOS authorises a letter of offer to be sent to Student and/or their Agent
Student attends induction and is
provided with:
Payment Plan (if required)
COE copy
Training Plan
Initial meeting with DOS and/or trainer Orientation around campus
Letter of offer sent with copy of Enrolment Agreement for applicant to sign and authorise
Applicant returns documents to ACOT. Copies of all required documents to be sent to ACOT including the following
ACOT application Form, Passport/Visa Information, IELTS Result, Health Insurance OSHC, Academic results/transcripts from both Overseas and Australia
Once all of the above are received, verified and copied and payment is processed for initial payment a COE will be produced and sent to the student or their Agent
Student is invited to attend an induction at ACOT. This induction must occur no later than 14 days after the commencement date of the qualification
ACOT Assesses and rejects application. Letter sent to Student or their Agent
Student does not attend induction
After 7 days student administration is to email the student and/or their Agent advising their enrolment will be cancelled in next 7 days
Student does not attend Induction within 14 days of commencement of enrolment:
Enrolment is to be cancelled, no further warning (see process below)
